Women in Torah Series

In this series we will explore some of the remarkable women of Torah, delving into their stories and the rabbinic mythologies created around them, as follows:

Shifra and Puah: the Midwives in Egypt, June 3; Tamar: Demanding her Due, June 17; Dina: Responding to Rape, July 1; Serach bat Asher: Finding Joseph’s Bones, July 15.

On July 15th we will end with a brief service for Rosh Chodesh Av, discussing the special link between Rosh Chodesh and women.
