Introduction to Mishna

Join us at HooDoo Brewing Company at 6:30pm for an introduction to Mishna:

Mishna, originally an oral text, is the two thousand year old foundation of the Talmud, and marks the beginning of both the rabbinic tradition and contemporary Judaism. Redacted after the destruction of the second temple, we will be taking a look at Mishna to get a better understanding of how the rabbis created the Judaism we practice today, and to learn what our ancestors may have to teach us about contemporary Jewish spirituality.
