  old foundation of the Talmud\, and marks the beginning of both the rabbin
 ic tradition and contemporary Judaism. Redacted after the destruction of t
 he second temple\, we will be taking a look at Mishna to get a better unde
 rstanding of how the rabbis created the Judaism we practice today\, and to
  learn what our ancestors may have to teach us about contemporary Jewish s
 pirituality.
