Bread & Torah: Torah Project & Sweet Pastry Baking

Join Rabbis Linda Motzkin and Jonathan Rubenstein of Bread & Torah for a day of baking and Torah! They will be guiding us through baking sweet yeasted pastries (like babka) and a community Torah project. We’ll mix dough, learn about the making of a Torah, help with Torah panel sewing, and enjoy fresh-baked pastries with coffee.
11:00 AM – Mix sweet yeasted dough
12:30 PM – Presentation on the Making of Torah
12:15–1:00 PM – Shape and fill the pastries
1:00 PM – Lunch break
1:30–2:00 PM – Torah panel sewing
2:00 PM – Fresh-baked pastries and coffee!
