 Mishna:\n\nMishna\, originally an oral text\, is the two thousand year old
  foundation of the Talmud\, and marks the beginning of both the rabbinic t
 radition and contemporary Judaism. Redacted after the destruction of the s
 econd temple\, we will be taking a look at Mishna to get a better understa
 nding of how the rabbis created the Judaism we practice today\, and to lea
 rn what our ancestors may have to teach us about contemporary Jewish spiri
 tuality.
